my dog never barks at me, or anyone in my family, but if he hears something outside he'll start barking. I tell him "Quiet" in a firm voice, and try to remove him from the place, claiming it as mine. However, he just continues to bark, and louder, so I never can give the reward for being quiet. What am I doing wrong? Please help.

my dog jess never barks at us but always barks when the bell rings and she knows tricks like sit roll over spin around play dead speak etc and u know how we taught her? DISCIPLINE

Samer here, we keep her doing it for the burglars, but we never engourage her, but tell her to shut up if its too loud or too long

He's training the dog not to Bark like crazy when there's nothing to Bark at.
It's your job to check why your dog is barking.
